Question Everything
In 8th grade, I was tasked with helping to find local advertisers for my middle school yearbook in Northeast Harbor, Maine.
After scoring a half-page advertisement from the pharmacy, I shuffled over into the boutique on the corner. I shyly approached and asked the owner if he wanted to take out an ad for his store in the Elementary School yearbook. He balked at me, and then asked: “Well, can I choose what it says?”
“Yes, sure” I responded.
“Okay. I just want it to say in capital bold letters QUESTION EVERYTHING.”
“Really?”
“Yup, that’s all I hope for your generation.”
Remain inquisitive, curious, seek the deeper answers and better questions, and all the while, remain full of wonder. #lifegoals
